So why do we many times lower all of our criteria when considering all of our platonic relations?

We’ve all had the experience, one or more times in our lives. That certain friend exactly who takes way too much, expects the whole world, have zero admiration available, and/or excludes you. Basically, they generate you think like shit. You’ll currently think they on some deep level. They generate matter things like ‘Am I just ‘not cool enough? A people pleaser? Too painful and sensitive?’… ‘Pathetic?’

No, you are not getting pathetic. You’re getting real. You may be harm. You have been utilized, and assumed. And it’s not OK.

Just why is it so hard to recognise when someone is harmful?

Because community enjoys said you’re maybe not said to be ‘emotional’ or ‘high maintenance’. Due to gaslighting tips that say we’re are ‘petty’ or ‘negative’ for bold to call-out inappropriate behavior. And it also’s for you personally to call BS on it!

It’s OK to call out pals on poor behaviour

Should you have a partner who had been treating your badly. Or a supervisor. Or a bad cellphone carrier – it might be completely normal so that you can re-examine those overt and slight behaviors to determine the way in which these were perhaps not OK. Continue reading
