Dayton, OH – November 2011– Sports Image®, a leader in the high school and youth sports marketing industry, has just awarded their 17th Sports Marketing Franchise to Mr. Scott Kennedy of Beaulaville, NC. This is the first franchise awarded in the state of North Carolina. Mr. Kennedy joins sixteen other existing franchises in ten different states awarded by Sports Image® in just its first two-and-a-half years of franchising.
“After culminating in one career that was a life dedicated to protecting and serving others, I wanted to start a new career that would allow me to continue to be a public servant and help others. Sports Image® was that career opportunity — all while I get to own my own business,” stated Mr. Kennedy.
Since 2002, Sports Image® has helped schools and organizations obtain state-of-the-art equipment and much needed revenue for their athletic programs as budgets continue to dry up nationwide. The program has zero cost to the schools and organizations. Through its’ unique, grassroots sports marketing approach and by leveraging existing relationships, Sports Image® has given over $850,000 in cash and over $10,000,000 in equipment to schools and organizations throughout the United States and in Canada.
“Scott is going to be a great addition to our growing Sports Image® franchise network,” said Mr. Eric Horstman, President of Sports Image®. “As a Former Assistant Special Agent in Charge with the State of North Carolina he is uniquely qualified in understanding the true meaning of the word ‘team’ and in looking out for the good for everyone vs. only thinking of himself.”
Mr. Kennedy adds: “I spend a large majority of my time working with kids and coaching youth sports and I am extremely excited that through the Sports Image® family I will be able to provide free equipment and revenue to schools and organizations. I also am eager to reach out to municipalities and recreation teams and help them with projects and programs. Sports Image®’s stellar background and proven business plan will be a blessing to the counties I will serve in Southeastern North Carolina.”
